Monitor Soil Moisture Accurately
This durable probe measures soil tension using electrical resistance, indicating Centibars (kilopascals) of soil water tension. The durable, stainless-steel probe housing contains a granular matrix that buffers water salinity for accurate results. Plugged into a battery powered radio transmitter, the probe may be buried at any depth to accurately indicate soil moisture.
The transmitter runs on 4 Lithium AA-size batteries, which last for multiple seasons. No bulky solar panels or large storage batteries required. The radio transmitter mounts on a pole (not included), with the sensor buried directly below.
